Academia usually means > BA or BS.
I'm casting lines and getting bites today
People here who know me well know better than this statement, that I actually believe that people who think differently than me are inferior in intelligence. I love diversity of thought and learn a lot of conservatives.
Still most of your dichotomies are false. There are moral relativists and moral absolutists on both sides, collective and individual on both sides, group vs. individual justice on both sides. Trump's platform for example is group justice for poor white families who have been betrayed by their government who has been pillaging their labor and sending it abroad in the world in the name of globalism and equilibrium of markets. This is why the whole "cuckservative" thing came about, as the Jeb Bush's and John McCain's care more about their Mexican maids and children than they do white American families who make this country what it is (their belief, not mine).
I know there are a lot of really smart conservatives because I know a lot of them. A lot of my coworkers are conservative and they're doctors or PhDs in their field, and there are a ton of conservatives in social work which always surprises people. And academia isn't a liberal bastion that people make it out to be, people who have spent a lot of time there know this. Some people take a sociology class, are triggered, and then make it out as if college is a big sociology class.. You just have more liberals in academia because you have higher concentrations of smart people and smart people have political ideologies. People who aren't smart don't call themselves conservative or liberal because they don't think about that stuff imo.
Of course there are collectivists and individualists on both sides. I didn't claim that any of those ideas were exclusively isolated to a right-left paradigm. However, most right wing collectivists are white supremacists, and most left wing individualists are classical liberals being pushed out of the left as we speak.
Rather, I was pointing out the fundamental presuppositions among esoteric thinkers that actually give a shit about being morally consistent tend to fall into those dichotomies.
The bold is a patently false narrative. It's a repudiation of globalists who are perceived to be corrupt due to a lack of common identity with their own people. For most, it's nationalism vs globalism, not white americans vs non-white americans. Right-wingers tend to think on a global scale as the US vs China, Russia, terrorism, etc. Left-wingers tend to view other citizens as their chief enemy, i.e. rich people, republicans, racists, etc.
