Moral is overrated anyway.

To a certain extent, I agree. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made. Trump could be seen as an ugly ends to a mean in that sense. As you said a few days ago, a productive President with terrible optics.

But to the extent Trump takes it, no. Not only did he endorse a man who sexually assaulted a 14 year old, he also drew a false equivalency between white nationalists and people protesting white nationalists, compared our country to a ruthless autocracy, is slowly eroding our democratic institutions, exacerbated partisanship, and is lowering the level of national discourse to embarrassing levels.

Instead of talking about how to solve American health care, we are fighting about the implications of our President paying off a pornstar.

As Colin Powell said, Trump is a national disgrace. I know I probably won't convince you of that, but just consider for a moment that this guy launched his 2012 political campaign on the basis that Obama was not a US citizen. I think that should speak for itself.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Tweets and the rallies are fun to watch. He's engaging, funny, and captivating. But the man is a demagogue, plain and simple. He appeals to the worst parts of our humanity.

I write this to you only because I know you are a fair and reasonable individual, and I respect you. Your support of Trump will never change that. But believe me, there are far better ways to help this great nation succeed than to support Donald Trump, even if you like some his policies.

Honestly, I've lost w/e respect I had for you bro. You don't even bother making points anymore, you just waste space on this forum.

“A president identified as a co-conspirator of a federal crime, an accusation not made by a political enemy but by the closest of his own confidants, is on the verge of making a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, a court that may someday soon determine the extent of the president’s legal jeopardy,” Schumer said.

what do you disagree with here?

Schumer is trying to save the country from Crooked Corrupt Trump and those like you that support criminal predators as long as they are white and rich republicans

A real hero and patriot that Schumer is

By delaying the appointment of the ninth justice, the left is in effect influencing the Supreme Court in decisions that haven't even happened yet.,

"I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!" -DJT

What about law and order? A jury of Manafort's peers found him guilty beyond reasonable doubt on 8 charges. As the law and order candidate, shouldn't Trump respect the legal process?

I literally just read someone argue that Democrats are evil for delaying a SCotUS appointment before an election.

Republicans are Christlike for doing it, though. Had to stop that literal vampire potbellied goblin Merrick Garland from hobbling around the halls of justice.

Reps didn't make a SC justice retire. They DID move as fast as they could to replace him. Ofc, the Dems will delay this, because as long as it's delayed the SC is deadlocked, on pretty much any issue.
Further, most of those issues are the ludicrous cases that Dems have brought in their attempt to sideline Trump.

Yes, ofc, it was Schumer yet again leading those trying to sideline Trump. I mean if there was even one iota of logic in Schumers's actions it would be a logical move. However the ONLY reason for Schumer's move is to deadlock the SC.
Schumer is doing the American people a severe disservice, but that is nothing new.
