I beleive it turned out that the handwriting expert wasn't really a handwriting expert as well.

Well the topic(s) should be easy to find. the election was Dec 12th 2017 so say a month leading up to that.
And Moore only lost by 1.7% at that.

There were some things about those accusations that left a little to be desired.
Atm I can't recall exactly what they were, but there were some things stated by the plaintiffs, that turned out, not to be true.

When it's Muslims and kids you say anyone disagreeing in pard should be shot or arrested.

Republican, nah its fine no evidence.

lets not be dishonest: Trump and the RNC were completely and utterly fucked once the sexual assault allegations came out against Moore after he had already secured the republican nomination. and lets not forget that they DID try to prevent his nomination. if there is anyone to blame, it's the primary voters of Alabama.
in the end, they gave him some half-assed endorsements on the rationale that even a person of questionable character with the right political beliefs was a better option than an upright person with all the wrong ideas and beliefs.

the bottom line is that the GOP can be glad that moore lost that election.
losing one more senate seat (that they will win back in 2 years anyway!) was better than having the super-toxic Moore sit in the Senate and give them horrendous PR week in week out.
and the whole Roy Moore debacle also served to discipline the base and deter them from nominating highly incendiary candidates in other primaries.

to add to that his incredibly far right beliefs may have put him in the camp that wouldnt vote on bipartisan measures. so while he's a vote for some things he's actually an obstructer for others.

Even the 1st paragraph is untrue. It's also just an opinion piece.

Cmon it's the reality, im sure you understand how it works; one finally start talking (even bring tapes ??? we will see...) and the others will follow...

It's the "domino effect", you heard of this already or not ? :)

indeed. the odds were extremely slim that the senator from alabama would ever cast the deciding vote on some meaningful legislation. the lost senate seat didnt really hurt them so far, and alabama is dark-red enough that Jones is all but guaranteed to get voted out in 2 years anyway - no matter how centrist his track record might be. alabama is so red that Jones could run significantly to the right of Manchin or Collins and still have no real chance at reelection.

yes. Its not a “good” choice but it was the best choice. The other option was to disavow Moore which would have the effect that elites (Trump, RNC) interfered with an election.

In the situation that did play out, Roy Moore was rejected by the populus in a free and fair election.

Most of the allegations are almost certainly true and roy moore is a piece of garbage through and through. The yearbook was fake though

So you admit the allegations that Roy More sexually assaulted a 14, 16, and 28 year old are "almost certainly true" but also state that supporting him and endorsing him was the best choice.

I'm not twisting your words. That's what you are saying here: "Most of the allegations are almost certainly true and roy moore is a piece of garbage through and through." "yes. Its not a “good” choice but it was the best choice."

There's also a lot of blame to placed on Trump for endorsing a man that was accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year old.

And yes, the GOP should be glad Moore lost that election. There was talks about how a Moore victory would be worse for the GOP than a Moore loss. There were also talks about removing him from the Senate if he won. These are the consequences a party faces if they help successfully elect someone like Moore.

You seem to be talking around this issue a lot...and refuse to acknowledge that Trump endorsed a man accused of sexually assaulting a 14, 16, and 28 year old. I don't care if he initially endorsed Strange...a week before the election, on December 4th, Trump began endorsing Moore and RNC funding was reinstated to the candidate in the wake of the President's support.

sometimes in poker you see what you think is a losing hand through the river.

if moore wins and is innocent its a win, if he wins and is guilty he leaves office.
