Can anyone explain to me what MAGA continues to act like the Project 25 thing is completely fabricated. Another issue they can’t cope with. What’s it ?

Project 25 exists. What is completely fabricated is its leftist mischaracterization as a sinister right-wing plot to overthrow democracy and turn the US into a 'Handmaid's Tale'-like theocracy. And also the claim that the Project 25 agenda is part of Trump's official platform.

Meanwhile in Minneapolis where the Tim Walz administration and its allied local government is doing its thing;

Quote
Hennepin County Board members are ready to give themselves a 49% pay hike while also backing generous salary increases for the two countywide elected offices of sheriff and attorney.
Board members voted 4 to 2 to advance the hefty pay raises for themselves during a committee meeting Tuesday. The members also voted 6 to 0 for the pay increases for the county attorney and sheriff.
The raises are up for final approval Aug. 6.
Under Board Chair Irene Fernando’s proposal, commissioners’ salaries would increase from $122,225 to $182,141 in 2025, a 49% jump. Salaries for the two countywide elected officials would be set at $218,272, up from the current pay of $185,775 for the sheriff and $195,065 for the county attorney.
Commissioners, the sheriff and county attorney would see more routine 3% pay increases in 2026.

To be fair, $122k/year isn't exactly a massive salary anymore in 2024 if you live in a big, costly metro. For people with a high level leadership role, that was indeed a rather mediocre pay.

Governor Tim Walzs gets paid $150k per year, and these commissions just voted to give themselves $182k per year. The average salary in Minnesota is $52k. The highest federal payscale for civilians is GS-13 and reserved for only the top level supervisors, tech specialists, engineers, etc and only steps from $88k to $115k when its capped out. Its wildly disproportionate to their job requirements (ie, none) and performance (none again).

I would say it's exactly like the Green New deal extreme ideology from one side that will never pass because its too far to one side.
Imagine if 90% of democrats claimed the Green new deal didn't even exist and was a fabrication. LOL

The initial version of Biden's Build Back Better bill came really close to being some take on the Green New Deal, and it got within 1-2 Senate votes of passing.
The green frenzy and the woke frenzy both peaked roughly in 2018-2022 and are currently receding, but the vast majority of national Democrats would have been on board with the GND during that time. So that whole "will never pass because far too extreme"-argument actually doesn't apply to the GND.

With Project 25, we can't really know. Let me put it like this: I highly doubt that you will ever find 48 GOP senators voting for a porn ban, lmao.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/chuck-schumer-remove-presidential-immunity-trump-rcna164618

Chuck Schumer is now pushing a bill- not constitutional amendment- to try to overturn the supreme court ruling that presidents have immunity for official acts per the constitution. Now of course this is pure theater, but it means Schumer is purposefully pushing a unconstitutional bill in congress to directly contradict a supreme court ruling of constitutionality without a constitutional amendment.

Quote
If it is passed, the legislation would make it clear that Congress has the power to determine “to whom federal criminal laws may be applied," not the Supreme Court, according to the bill's outline provided by Schumer's office.

Basically in an attempt to git orange man, he's trying to pass a bill that would overturn the entirety of constitutional review by the supreme court. Despite the fact such a bill would be unconstitutional before any court even needs to rule on it. He might as well be trying to pass a piece of legislation that says the constitution has been overturned and no longer applies. It would be like a bill saying the entire federal judiciary has been disbanded and no courts are allowed to exist. Even by the most ludicrous stretches of neoliberal imagination this couldn't be construed as a working concept.

I mean fucking hell, at least when Republicans tried to repeal Obamacare 514 times or whatever it was, they were pushing a bill that actually worked, even if they didn't actually want it to pass.
