Ford's hearing wasn't a shitshow. It was germane and straightforward.

Kavaunaugh's hearing has taken us from Fast Times at Ridgemont High to ketchup on spaghetti to screaming at senators and then senators screaming about gang rapes.

I think Ford is more honest than Kav

I think Kav does have anger issues and did engage in poor behavior in HS

him playing the choir boy doesn't help, anyone that has been around his type sees through him

but there still isn't anything to change anything but personalities and demeanor aside he is more full of shit than she is

Don't be bamboozled by Graham. He was a prominent Never-Trumper along with McCain....



But now that he faces an upcoming and potentially tough Republican primary race in a state that deeply supports Trump, he's desperate for the president's approval.

He did good today.

It really shines an unnecessary bad light on gang rapes.

Consensual gang rapes are wonderful.

Being quaaluded by Brett Kavanaugh doesn't sound wonderful though.

BK is clearly having a better performance so far, but he's the one in the hot seat with everything to lose. He could say one wrong word and be in the shitter.
If it ended abruptly right now he'd come out clean, but he's exposing weaknesses with his evasiveness and inability to answer questions that won't give the democrats the soundbite they want but also weaken his emotional advantage.
As long as democrats keep fffffffucking up, he's pretty clean

But Kavanaugh & the republicans should be planning a more aggressive line against the democrats harping on the FBI investigation, like Grassley has a few times.
Democrats can say their bit about "We need the FBI", and instead of just saying "I'm here to testify now and the FBI doesn't reach conclusions", they should go on the offensive and point out that democrats had 20 days to seek an FBI investigation and handle this accusation privately like Dr. Ford requested, and instead leaked her letter at the 11th hour. It exposes the DNC's hypocrisy, defangs the FBI request and paints them as victimizing Ford all at the same time. This works great for republicans. Kavanaugh would have to temper his language in non-accusatory tones to maintain a semblance of neutrality.
