if tax reform was virtually guaranteed, why was it so hard for the GOP to barely, in a last-ditch effort, pass it?

As a last ditch effort before what? Having another year before the house elections?

I can't tell if this is true genius or idiocy...either way, I'm impressed with his rhetoric here. Trump is great at rallies.

Edit: also, 48:26-49:30. lol @ the checkbook part

the obamacare repeal could have been completely partisan as well...

if you're a billionaire who runs a multi-billion dollar company, cooking for yourself is simply an inefficient use of time and energy.

pretty much any person with a similar background to trump's will not have cooked anything for him- or herself since college.

It's more likely than not at this point. If the economy remains this strong, he will win a second term.

that's for fun. everyone, even the CEO of a multi-billion dollar comapny, needs some time off to relax and recharge batteries.

cooking isnt a luxury, its an everyday necessity. and for many people, it's not fun or relaxing either. why should a rich and busy person not outsource the chore?

3 one-termers since wwII?

carter, bush senior, and.... johnson I guess? JFK cant count for this, and he would have cruised to reelection anyway.

Knowing how to do something and doing it every single day for all meals are very different things

I questioned his ability since he once again brought up something he knows nothing about

Cooking/baking are very common interests and hobbies including with rich people as it can be fun and therapeutic

so I question "pretty much any person with a similar background to trump's will not have cooked anything for him- or herself since college. " this

but I don't know any billionaires or alleged billionaires personally

well, there are obviously people who do cooking as a hobby, who find it relaxing. but for someone who doesnt, it's a chore. all I'm saying is that almost all rich businessmen like trump would outsource this task if/when they dont enjoy it.
