I think we went a little overboard too late. Masks give an illusion of safety so people just assumed because they were masked up they were impervious. Also the intention of the mask is to stop the spread if someone is infected, not protect against catching it.
I just really think we did too little too late and the majority of the population didn't co-operate. I also think the disease was man made and weaponized to disrupt our economy, turn us against one another, and ultimately turn a profit for major corporations and politicians.
I hate that half the country doesn't even believe in what almost killed me and took my sister away. People believe in car crashes, they believe in cancer, but COVID was politicized to hell and back so now I have to see casual reminders everywhere I go.
But hey, that's life. I worked jobs with people throughout the entirety of COVID so there was no "lock down" for me. I regularly got into fights at work too because people refused to wear masks and would harass the shit out of me so I'm a bit bitter and biased.
the math is simple. the virus is smaller than the holes in the mask so it passes right through the mask and the masks are bad for a person. this thread has ample evidence of that. I am sorry for your loss but that doesnt automatically mean masks work and/or dirt bag sell out WEF (world economic forum) politicians are /where correct.
