i'd say that this is yet another pathetic excuse because you're too proud to admit you lack education and culture, and that it doesn't even work because it would actually be the correct pronunciation, so even your transparent attempt to save face was a massive fail, trench boy...

do you know what phonetic means?

you may lack culture on the subject, but as im in an area heavily populated by Germans (over here in wisconsin, we have the festivals to match each fall) "vienerschnitzel" pronounced like i spelled it is a common jibe at the descendants of said Germans, such as myself. not very original to be sure, and perhaps too regional to be even worthy of a smile to anyone but me, but oh well. hopefully you learned something today, even if its that wisconsinites aren't very original in their cultural insults, we just like the joke because it had wiener in it.

still mad we toast you boys on cheese even though we're a fraction your size?

you've got the lead in wine for now, but we're also catching the German's in beer. our micro breweries have gotten a lot of awards in the last few years. Spotted Cow is still > all other beers worldwide, change my mind.

congrats on winning best in show, but i think the medal counts speak for themselves

cute, rubber and glue, 'nO YuO laCk cULtUrE!'
and again, pronounced like you spelled it is actually the CORRECT way, even in english:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Wiener%20schnitzel
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_schnitzel

so again, your little attempt to save face by implying you were just 'joking' by deliberately misspelling something in a way that people in your region (more evidence that it's just an excuse as you couldn't have any reasonable expectation for me to know about it) allegedly pronounce it to mock descendants of germans (apparently unaware that it's actually correct, even in english, and therefore just one example of WHY so many germans struggle with it on words where it's INcorrect), doesn't work on ANY level.

i find it amusing how desperately you're trying to turn this on me, sounding all condescending, while actually exposing your own ignorance and lack of knowledge...

u seem real confused. I know that its pronounced like that in Germany. The americanized version of the word pronounces the W. Like "bahloney" for bologna.

it would be pretty hard for anyone to not know you krauts pronounce it that way, literally any american movie where a German is featured they have one of you pronounce the word for cheap comedic effect. See Beerfest, Hogan's Heroes, etc. The way you guys pronounce it is a common joke.

i dont even understand where you're going with this tbh. seems like you're a bit upset you thought u had me on a spelling mistake, that was clearly meant to be spelled that way. is that it?

you should watch the movie Beerfest just to see how americans view your culture, the grandma must say "veenerschnitzel" 10 times in that movie.

When i drive north to the land of the cheese, I buy many a cases of spotted cow. I wouldn't say it's the best beer out there, but it's damn good. I save half myself and drop off the other half as gifts.

Beer, Cheese, and encased meats. It's magical. Also, a stop at The Brat Staaaaap is always in order. Breakfast sammy, home fries, and a gin & soda @ 8 AM before we tee off.

indeed it is a magical place. funny that someone would claim i'm ignorant about german culture in wisconsin. u can't escape german culture here. when i was 16 i went to Tennessee and asked if they wanted to grill some brats, they had no clue what i was talking about.

the funny thing is, the spelling mistake was just a little side remark, the main point was that you made yet another completely unprovoked off topic post with some lazy nazi innuendo because you just can't let go of your butthurt towards me.

you were the one who made it all about the obvious spelling mistake, probably to deflect from the main issue, and because it's apparently just physically impossible for you to admit you made a mistake...
