Meaning that not only would one data point need to be wrong, but every single data point would need to be massively wrong all in the same direction and by a huge magnitude that far outstrips any known source of error.

Anyway, I am simply not sold on how bad the covid situation is. If there truly had been as many deaths as the media would have us believe, morgues would be full of corpses. But that doesn't seem to be happening. I have also heard of the government padding of covid numbers (don't ask me for a source though). Anyway, it doesn't matter. It seems pointless to me to argue whether covid is much worse than the flu or is only slightly worse.
