Yes there is no denying she shot and killed the man. The rest, so far is pure guesswork. Maybe you need to look up to word manslaughter.

Look at my posts in this thread

it's pretty obvious I have for Texas where it matters and studied what has been released quite extensively

and when she's convicted guilty you'll say we need to wait for appeals. which isn't inside the perview of due process for a guilty verdict or imprisonment. like you did before.

you're a new excuse every week, doesn't it get tiring having to act like you have a different set of principles based on the story of the week?

No I won't. Unless she appeals. I'm not the one trying to hang someone with out due process.

no one in this thread has suggested that she not get a trial and reports instead straight to the executioner.

beowulf is openly suggesting charging her with the lesser crime, one that doesnt include capital punishment.

just what in the fuck are you even talking about?

It's certainly a lock on manslaughter

at this point and time I support manslaughter over murder still but would want more years than I did earlier

that of course can change at any time but we don't have a murder conviction here and I don't want another cop getting off

texas manslaughter has 2-20 years so we have plenty of years to work with and a much easier conviction given what we know so far

so far from what I've researched and what's been released I wouldn't go murder

it's just asking to get her off

a manslaughter conviction and a judge willing to add the years for how shitty she was when all the evidence comes out is where I am at

Let's parse the sentence... "It's certainly a lock on manslaughter".

That looks to me like a suggestion that it's manslaughter at the least. This being before the trial is even held.

Have you studied the relevant evidence and statements (before and after) of the officer?

go ahead and give me a scenario including them where she did not at minimum commit manslaughter

btw as always I'm completely willing to change my mind if evidence comes out to say I'm wrong

but the chances of that happening are very very very low based on the released information we have now

Given the evidence that there is now it seems like a lock for manslaughter. you understand of course that manslaughter is a charge, as well as a crime she may be tried guilty for. as it sits now, its a lock for a manslaughter charge. there's nothing there ghot, now please discount this as liberal bs.

have you ever heard someone say "the patriots are a lock for the superbowl this year". they dont keel over and die the second the pats lose in the AFC championship game, it's a common phrase. usually you're the old man trying to turn your nose up at others not knowing common phrases, surprised you missed that one.

Beowulf is talking like a prosecutor, he should expect a lock of the charge he's filing...

when you presented the "what if he said something to her in the elevator" situation?

please enlighten us with the scenario that would prevent her from getting charged with manslaughter, a simple link to your genius scenario would suffice.
