Point is, if she got away with it, how come Roseanne didn't. Maybe you should read the whole topic.

Roseanne got away with it for years

ABC and her coworkers looked the other way to milk the cash cow (a neglected market)

Cow ran dry and everyone bolted. Roseanne doesn't have a right to a show on a network she doesn't own. If she wants to use her likeness and fund her own show she can be as racist as she pleases publicly

Then I guess by the same token, the black woman senator in Missouri who said "I wish someone would assassinate Trump", doesn't deserve her job either.
She made the comment on Facebook right after the Charlottesville, VA incident, when Trump said both sides are to blame.

What's good for the goose... etc.

government didn't punish her at all just like they didn't punish her in 2013 when she said Susan Rice was a "man with giant swinging ape balls"

Doesn't matter if it's work related but you're even wrong there because the show and brand is her name and likeness making everything she does relevant to a family marketed tv show

No, ABC punished her. It shouldn't be legal. It isn't legal, unless it was specifically disallowed in her contract. Specifically disallowed on personal time.

/e If Barr isn't allowed to keep her job after saying something politically incorrect, then the same should apply to Nadal, even more so.
