When you make posts like this it makes it obvious you aren't really interested in what's true.

How so? The vast majority of liberals are not vegan.

I'm confused on this post. Liberals are saying these things now.

No, vegans are saying these things.

The belief that we should use animal products, most specifically the belief in eating meat

...carnism is pretty recent pop psychology , a word coined to enhance the mental masturbation games popular in pseudo-intellectual circle jerks regarding the reasons why people believe it is normal to eat meat . If carnism were to disappear it would be one less justification for vegans to feel superior as they munch on their grass clippings and lawnmower oil and would actually increase the practice of carnivorism , the word you should have used .

I resent people who change their opinions because other people did. As the conspiracy theorists say, they are sheep.

Changing opinions to conform to the people around you is a human tendency which is probably more the rule than the exception. And I'd remark that people resent you even more when you change your opinions to clash with their own. If you want to test this in an experiment, go to an online forum and post "what if humanity used less or no animal products and imagine all the benefits it'd have".

Sounds like a dream.

I'm still going to eat red meat 5 times a week though.

Collecting methane is a way to prop up the beef/dairy industry not destroy it. If we started now we could sustain the practice for much longer, because as many have eluded to father time is coming for meat eaters. 100? 200? 300 years? Who knows, but its coming.

Unless you're saying its not sustainable/reliable of a practice at all, which it is. Its not a theory its being practiced by farmers today.

Social isolation could mean death in a tribe, it's natural to conform to those around you, being a black sheep is how you get killed by cops.

I'd gladly become a 'vegan' once in vitro meat is economically viable

Meat eating used to be a privilege for few, now it's become common to even the peasants, I understand your reactionary position but I reject it on principle.

Carnivorism refers to the natural need for an animal to eat meat. Humans aren't even carnivores, they're omnivores, so, no, I was not talking about "ending carnivorism."

Vegans are bastions of conservatism after all.
