You want a larger sample size? Look at our previous generations, they were hit as children. Our parents did, their parents did, and so on. Some bad eggs developed from it possibly yeah, but as a whole they are all alright, responsible, hardworking, and got shit done.

Look at the upcoming generations; a bunch of self entitled whiners who have their parents step in when they get in trouble at school or yelled at by someone else.

Maybe its not even physical discipline that's an issue, but more so poor discipline by parents all together.
