So what happens if you pick the defense of say Team A, and then Team A puts a defensive player into a couple offensive formations and that player does something that would normally generate points (FF points) for an offensive player?

The best way to insult someone on the internet is the same as in real life. Present them with information that challenges their beliefs. Coincidentally, it's also the same way to make someone act childish as well.

You can't draft individual defensive players. You can only draft offensive players that fill the position requirements (you can't draft O-linemen, for example; but you could theoretically draft a fullback).

meh, a lot of people have posted on the question and they have all been spot on (including Voyaging), except for Eti_fr (of course). Yeah it was a dirty trick---presenting him that question---I had a sneaking suspicion he wouldn't be able to answer it, so it was kind of a gotcha question. It's easy to get wrong the first time you are presented it with (as it is very counter intuitive). What I have been shocked by is his inability to grasp it after it has been explained, ad nauseam.

Oh he'd be able to gasp it if he actually had an open mind and read the numerous explanations we wrote. It's just he refuses to understand formal logic or anything that initially strikes him as odd. Dat open mind.
