Whether or not you find those comments offensive, they are certainly not fascist. We know this unequivocally, because the British government of the 1930s was not fascist, and their perspectives on modern Britain would be orders of magnitude more conservative than anything that has come out of this woman's mouth. Fascism is not synonymous with "opposition to illegal immigration", nor is it synonymous with "opposition to criminal gangs engaged in sexual slavery". These are things to which every reasonable person is opposed.

You are confusing isolated examples of privatization, pursued to achieve very specific political ends, with "privatization" representing a stand-alone goal of the fascist movement. As I said, that's not the case. Your own article agrees with me that fascism sees economics in strictly utilitarian terms. A fascist would just as soon nationalize an industry as privatize it, as the Arab fascist movements of the 1960s later did. British conservatives, on the other hand, are trying to liberalize an economy that is poorer in real terms than it was 15 years ago. As an American, that's frankly shocking, it's akin to a 3rd world state.
