I think it's fine for the artist to push back and for the conversation to be had
I'm much more about conversation and growth than shutting anyone down or going after their intentions without evidence of them
Personally I think an acknowledgement of the history and the similarities while still being able to hold his own views and stances would be the way to go
I dunno if that is what he tried by replying to "those people" or if he just engaged with hostility to criticism/outrage
my guess is it was probably a typical mud fight

I do think there is a bit of dishonesty in comparing exaggerations of a lot of white people (politicians) without a long history of being dehumanized to what the reasonable criticisms are of the pic
Kim is barely exaggerated at all, damn near flattering
