There's no scenario in which Trump becoming president is in his financial best interests. People at least could have argued it was in his interests to run for president for a 2nd time, to build up his brand. um.. look at how much Ivanka and Kushner have changed their net worth since being in office. Its not just them its ALL politicians senators triple their net worth etc.

Nobody becomes president for charity. The insinuation however that Trump became president specifically to increase his net worth is ridiculous. You would have to be a stupendously dumb person to believe that.

No there is not any statement that say "he's running for charity" but people thinking its some big sacrifice for him. During his entire campaign of "i won't even take a salary" is pennies to people with money and so many of his supporters look at that as a good faith move and showing charity and giving to the US.. its laughable.
