again: average wages are not just affected by the wage development of those who already had a job, they're also affected by those who have newly entered the workforce. and during the late phase of a boom economy, persons will suddenly find a job who were underqualified, or handicapped in one form or the other, or long-term unemployed. these people will get entry-level and/or low-qualified jobs with low wages, and thus drag down the average wages, even though it's undoubtedly a good thing when these persons find a job.
lol. I get your point, makes perfect sense, and new workers entering the workforce is great and all BUT doesn't morally justify hourly wages decreasing &/or stagnant, most of the country still doesn't have a living wage, so spouting rhetoric like you just did is a slap in the face to workers who have been in the work force for decades and are only making ~$10/hour.
