doesn't really make sense in the conservative narrative, since Obama's regulations were holding down the economy and Trump lifted them and let the economy soar on its own

gonna be Obama's economy when it goes downhill in the next 2 years under Trump

gonna be Obama's foreign and domestic policies when something inevitably terrible happens in the next few years

so not sure why you even bother

Gonna be Trump’s economy all of a sudden if it goes downhill in the next 2 years as well.

People are stupid, yes.

And conservatives will suddenly say its Obama's fault if that happens.

And here both of you are caring that either people would say the other is to blame.

The jar of skyrocketing deficits? Agreed.

Or a debt with a cap, in order to handle the next recession well.

I'm more than willing to say trumps tax cuts for the middle class are driving the economy up, riding an already upward wave started by Obama.

I'm also willing to point out all the problems that were present under Obama that are still problems under Trump.

But I've yet to find a Trump supporter willing to accept that.... usually they try to play Obama's economy off as stagnant and terrible until November 2016.

Welcome to bipartisan parties! People have too much pride in general to look at facts in a clear way. This is why I hate politics.

Thing is, most liberals on the Forum have approximately the same stance.

That ignores the flat facts though

The speed of the market is run by investor confidence and consumer confidence. Which was better under Trump because he reduced regulations

There was an objective difference between the two
