Guys, Russians interfered in the recent Ohio elections. We MUST be vigilant.

DEMAND STRICT VOTER ID LAWS!

That explains the onslaught of republican victories last night. It was the Russian red wave

yeah well, the GOP barely holding on by 0.8% of the votes to a R+13 seat isnt exactly good news for them.

they really should start thinking about ways of closing the enthusiasm gap...

Republicans should be very concerned if you break down the details

Democrats are outperforming in numbers that are making the next few months more important than many Trump supporters realize

You know that "We're winning, why should we even try, the opposition is so shit" mentality? That worked out real well for the Dems in 2016. I'd suggest not falling in the same trap.

Be cocky about barely winning in places there should be a blow out

with unnecessary trade wars directly going to harm the very people that support Trump over the coming months

let's see how cocky you are in a few months

one trend I've noticed is that liberal media outlets and commentators will compare the performance of democrats in districts where they invested 0 resources in 2016 (or didn't run an actual living human candidate at all) to the 2017/2018 special elections they poured millions of dollars into, and claim that the loss-by-a-smaller-margin is somehow a moral victory. Yeah, Ohio-12 was a a lot 'closer' in this special election than it was in 2016. Except in 2016, the republican candidate spent $1.2 million campaigning and the democrat was a random yokle who had $2216 in campaign donations and a few thousand bucks out of pocket, with nothing but a facebook page. In this past election, the two sides spent #3-4 million each. In Georgia's 6th, Handel and Ossoff spent a preposterous and historical record $50+ million in 2017. The democrats pulled out all the stops and dumped insane amounts of money and the republicans countered. And the election was close, but republicans won. But it was 'closer' than in 2016, when Tom Price ran against... "Rodney Stooksbury", a man who supposedly might exist, but there was no campaign website, no public pictures of him, no facebook, no twitter, no social media presence at all, and spent $0 campaigning. And Ossoff got a few hundred more votes than Stooksbury did
i mean heck;

there’s always a focus on margin of victory but especially when the losing side is so good at losing of late. just typical rhetoric

hell chunk todd was yammering about this to him apparently losing = winning

“We only lost by 1” the rallying cry of the loser
