So how it's evolving ? I read somewhere that labor could become a minority governement ? Not sure it's a good idea... For them
I got surprised to see Spain ready to cancel the whole thing, maybe it's just a maneuver to add pressure on "negotiations".
Is it 100% sure that Mrs May Withdrawal will be rejected ?
I haven't heard anything about a Labour minority government, but the idea is laughable. They need to win an election, they need the seats.
Spain can't cancel the withdrawal agreement, they can only vote against it. Due to the likelihood of the current withdrawal agreement being rejected in our own parliament for being disadvantageous to the UK, it doesn't make sense for the EU to try to get more concessions.
Not 100% sure. The majority of Tory MPs will vote for it, I'd guess around 250. Backbench Tory brexiteers, Lib Dems and the SNP will certainly all vote against, that's around 110. The DUP have an agreement with the Conservatives to vote with the government, but it's not enforceable and they hate the deal so that's another 10 MP's who are probably voting against. Labour have 257 seats so if about 50 vote for the deal then it will pass, but it's unlikely.
