there is, they get thrown out instead of having to go through the entire process.
you can't write a law that says "each person can only file 1 lawsuit per year" or "each defendant can only face 10 lawsuits per year". it would be a perversion of justice.
and in reality Trump, his brand, his family, his organizations, have been getting sued for decades. its standard for any large business. his lawyers aren't only up to the task its their normal. i dont even want to guess at the number of lawsuits the Trump Organization has faced, building code issues, contractor disputes, copyright infringement, quality assurance issues, etc. its standard. i mean shit man, i work at a place that employs 100 people, we got sued like 5 times last year or at least had to lawyer up 5 times. to quote Donald J Trump at HRC: "that's called business, by the way".
Problem it's really difficult to collect the feathers of bullshit that have been spread, even if the person is cleared time after time.
Let's leave aside his business, the image damage after media has ran these "Trump admin is being sued, investigated, etc for ________, can't ever be taken back considering people consume that, and rarely does their opinion shift after it's been formulated.
Also the inertia of constantly having to defend every move because some partisan judge in Cali or NY decided to challenge a lawful ruling, only for that ruling to be upheld by SCOTUS 3 months later is also getting kind of old.
