More shit flung fails to stick to the wall. There should be some sort of restriction or guidelines on filing frivolous suits. The poor Trump lawyers need quality time with their families instead of raking in the dough working OT on guaranteed wins.

there is, they get thrown out instead of having to go through the entire process.

you can't write a law that says "each person can only file 1 lawsuit per year" or "each defendant can only face 10 lawsuits per year". it would be a perversion of justice.

and in reality Trump, his brand, his family, his organizations, have been getting sued for decades. its standard for any large business. his lawyers aren't only up to the task its their normal. i dont even want to guess at the number of lawsuits the Trump Organization has faced, building code issues, contractor disputes, copyright infringement, quality assurance issues, etc. its standard. i mean shit man, i work at a place that employs 100 people, we got sued like 5 times last year or at least had to lawyer up 5 times. to quote Donald J Trump at HRC: "that's called business, by the way".

I think the campaign system should be reworked so it's illegal for the nonsense smear fests to happen.

Show us what you're going to do and more importantly how you're going to do it.

The US style politics has bled over into Canadian campaigns and its completely embarassing.

Problem it's really difficult to collect the feathers of bullshit that have been spread, even if the person is cleared time after time.

Let's leave aside his business, the image damage after media has ran these "Trump admin is being sued, investigated, etc for ________, can't ever be taken back considering people consume that, and rarely does their opinion shift after it's been formulated.

Also the inertia of constantly having to defend every move because some partisan judge in Cali or NY decided to challenge a lawful ruling, only for that ruling to be upheld by SCOTUS 3 months later is also getting kind of old.

In another Trump win, court tosses Democrats' suit over his businesses

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Friday threw out a lawsuit brought by Democratic lawmakers that accused Donald Trump of violating anti-corruption provisions in the U.S. Constitution with his business dealings, capping a week of political victories for the Republican president.

A unanimous three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the more than 210 House of Representatives and Senate Democrats lacked the required legal standing to bring the case, reversing a lower court judge’s decision that had allowed the case to proceed.

Nothing says "fighting for the middle class" like using your office to funnel money to your corporation. Tribalism has rotted people's brains... it's pretty amazing to see.

the Trump administration wouldnt be facing lawsuits every 2 weeks if they followed the process laid out by the founding fathers for making laws and running a govt. sent bills to congress, stamp them into law after a vote is passed.

they're taking the full force of these lawsuits because they're working around the legislature with executive orders. i dont have sympathy for those that pervert american democracy, and executive orders are out of fucking control. not just the number per term massively increasing over the past several decades but also their scope. military, education, healthcare, finance, etc. its out of fucking control. i frankly hope trump gets sued 4x more than he is now just so this EO business can be shown as a failed model to run a presidency.

provide your argument as to why the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Colombia made a ‘political decision’ and ‘did not tell the truth’ so they wouldn’t be “revolutionary” in this case

election-denying privileged lefties like you always make regular Americans laugh out loud.

enjoy your not-well-earned weekend, dont go too hard during unhappy hour too lmfao, pathetic..
