He is going to be fine just in case anyone wonders. He will be confirmed.

I mean really
Kavanaugh sounds like someone very emotionally compromised and trying to keep it together
Ford sounded like someone coached that if she couldn't manage real tears, she could just stutter a bit

I think, no I know, you hit the nail on the head.

Feinstein is just playing lefty games, Mitchell, seems to be happy that she finding no discrepancies.

So what Kavanaugh comes across to me is a normal, nice guy who isn't as cold-blooded as most in Washington. His emotional state is completely genuine. If this performance doesn't save his pick, it will save his reputation.

lol i just dont for the life of me get why this phrase keeps getting repeated.

let's say they did, we'd have the same eyewitness shit we have and the crayon calendar. what could an investigation possibly even find? real question.

The investigation would probably find nothing, which would be a huge boon for the GOP and Kavanaugh considering the vast majority of Americans respect the FBI.

For reference, the investigation into Anita Hill only took 2 days.

Why didn't they do it? I don't know. I think it was bad politics. I think they just tried to dismiss the allegations without granting them any form of legitimacy.

He should pop some Quaaludes before heading back in. I'm sure he keeps a stash in his pocket in case he runs into a young, impressionable girl at a DC bar.

they didnt want to give precedent to the dems to call for an investigation with no proof offered, while obstructing people asking questions, and let them have it. that would be part of it, with obvious political additions.
