The Democratic jim crow never left the south though. It was just replaced by upper middle class conservative whites that migrated from the north

The Democrats are the party of jim crow and they still are

If you look at the cities in the south with the lowest standards of living for blacks, they are all governed by jim crow democrats

>South discriminates against minorities
>Democrats get rid of discrimination
>Minority vote goes to Democrats
>WHY DO BLACKS HAVE LOW STANDARD OF LIVING UNDER DEMOCRAT POLICIES!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?

Gee I wonder.....

I'm curious though, what cities specifically? And be sure to only list ones that have Democrat governors and state senators as well, because mayors can't really do shit.

Do you think the supporters of the Jim Crow laws were liberals or conservatives?

Neither southern Democrats nor southern Republicans voted for it in any reasonable amount.

Both northern Democrats and northern Republicans voted for it.

However, no matter how you break up the votes Democrats had a higher percent vote yes, and the Democrat president signed it into law.

After which the Democrats who voted against it, and the relevant portion of their voter base in the south, swapped to the Republican party.
