So you admit he's going to win re-election? Welcome aboard the Trump train!

yes because it's not only about to watch the boat sinking but also to ensure nobody survived.

I'd really like to see more specifics about "eligible" and "prevented by law from participating" before jumping to conclusions.
oh, and of course the dems wouldnt have won 22k out of 23k available votes in those couties - flipping wisconsin around would have the democrats required to rake in over 95% of these voters. highly doubtful even in heavily democratic counties.

it's perfectly reasonable to assume over 50% of supposed "45,000 eligible voters" which includes "two heavily Democratic counties" would be over 22,000 additional democrat (Clinton) votes... I'm not saying this is [the] reason why Trump won, just a reason that G.O.P. voter suppression laws are political and should be illegal.

well, as I said: I'd really like to hear more details before concluding that what happened there was "voter suppression".

also: the GOP trying to prevent democratic-leaning constituencies from voting is about as dirty and shady as the democrats trying to expand voting rights to constituencies that lean towards them (illegals, felons, persons who havent registered to vote in decades, ...)

Why is it shady to try to get people who previously haven't registered to register and vote for them?

That one seems like a pretty big leap, and not at all in the same ballpark.

felons should be able to vote no matter who they support idc

and

"persons who havent registered to vote in decades"

this is literally what every single candidate tries to do for any party

The law, which went into effect in 2016, required specific forms of government-issued photo identification to vote.

and how exactly is this a malicious attempt at suppressing certain votes? every wisconsinite was subject to the same voter ID laws, every wisconsinite had months to get his voter ID/registration fixed ahead of the election.
why is it the GOP's fault if it's mostly democratic-leaning constituencies who fail to do this?

imho, it's the opposite way round: the fact that it's mostly democratic voters who fail to comply with those laws because they are too lazy or disinterested in politics, is really telling about where the parties stand today.
