I just step outside or go to any local gas station or fast food restaurant, and I'm reminded that it really should be no surprise. Admittedly, the city I live in is pretty poor, but I'm constantly reminded that this country has a lot complicated issues.

People are poor, downtrodden, disenfranchised, depressed, bored, or all of the above. They finally had an opportunity to finally elect a President that talks about political issues like they do in their living rooms - and they took it (well, 46.1% of them).

The President is charming, funny, charismatic, and a man of his people. He is a celebrity, had fantastic name recognition, and is exciting. He broke all the rules. He ran against a snobby, corrupt, female establishment figure.

Unfortunately, he's also a rambling, incoherent idiot. We reap what we sow.

Reminder that Republicans control both chambers of Congress.

Trump can't get funding for the wall not because of Democrats but because he doesn't have enough internal party support on the issue. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell don't want to include funding for the wall in this spending bill.
