if they want to make an argument that the actual uniform can't be altered because it's distracting to referees that's fine, but shoes should be fair game.

is a great resource for looking this stuff up. some of the things they've fined for are optics nightmares. the only thing i'll say is they're fairly consistent on fining all violations.

honestly BLM minded individuals might be better served taking fines for uniform violations. then the anti-kneeler crowd can't pull the "muh flag muh military muh patriotism" card and they'll literally be paying for it in such large numbers the NFL would be forced to funnel the cash into some sort of program to combat the issue they want attention given to. tax deductibly of course.

its like i said before a year or so ago to really bamboozle everyone they should fine every player that protests a gamecheck but donate this amount 50% to charity in low-income areas/domestic violence survivors/criminal justice reform efforts and 50% to cte research.

It's not a free speech issue, it's contract breaking regarding their very normalized suits... So the fine is justified.

On the other hand i dont know if theres anything related to kneeling in the same contracts...
