the economy truly hasn't recovered in a real sense under trump or obama, just national debt is still way too high and spending needs to be drastically reduced and things like social security removed. Boomers will riot though.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Trump administration is quietly pushing ahead with a bid to create a new security and political alliance with six Gulf Arab states, Egypt and Jordan, in part to counter Iran’s expansion in the region, according to U.S. and Arab officials.

The White House wants to see deeper cooperation between the countries on missile defense, military training, counter-terrorism and other issues such as strengthening regional economic and diplomatic ties, four sources said.

The plan to forge what officials in the White House and Middle East have called an “Arab NATO” of Sunni Muslim allies will likely raise tensions between the United States and Shi’ite Iran, two countries increasingly at odds since President Donald Trump took office.

The administration’s hope is that the effort, tentatively known as the Middle East Strategic Alliance (MESA), might be discussed at a summit provisionally scheduled for Washington on Oct. 12-13, several sources said.

You realize SUNNI muslims were responsible for 9/11 right, and ISIS are sunni muslims, saddam was a sunni muslim, the taliban were sunni muslims, and al queda are also sunni muslims..

What I realize in that the countries that Trump is considering for this... MESA, are the ones who at this point in time, are acting civilized.
It's not like he's giving them the keys to the Pentagon or the Federal Reserve or anything.

We have a bunch of countries that are supposedly two variations of the same faith. And they've been killing each other for years. For long before the US came along.
Maybe MESA will help one side win, finally, then maybe these countries can get their shyt together, finally.

I really don't care about YOUR version of things. YOUR version of things seems a bit too angry and all inclusive. The sunni's are the devil, etc.


All I said was I think ikt's a great idea to get all these countries working together. At least they won't be at war with each other, and dragging that with them wherever they go.
60 years ago, is a long time for these countries, that kill each other off so much.

Hell, only 80 years ago we had Hitler. Are you gonna use this logic of yours to say that all Germans are secretly still working at world conquest?

I mean what could Kathy Kraninger’s views on immigration have to do with being the chief of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau?

What do the Dems think she'll do, not let immigrants shop at Wal Mart?
