Commies defending communism poorly. what else is new.
this time taking issue with a funny meme.

Many people purposefully consume tobacco products and prefer it, just like many people enjoy Alcohol.
I know you aren't big on personal responsibility, but it applies here.
People being more likely to die earlier, typically after living a long and fruitful life, from extensive tobacco use is categorically different than being forced to starve to death or lined up and shot or being exterminated in some other way.
The 6 mill figure is also junk science, but thats beside the point. The number of tobacco deaths is irrelevant to communism being terrible.

Thankfully that failed ideology has been soundly rejected by most decent persons and even by the indecent ones who control large populations, and it doesn't continue to murder people in such large numbers to this day.

Using that red herring to deflect criticism from the horrors of communism is extremely questionable, morally.
People dying from products or wars makes communism better how exactly?

vs devilkin
Somehow 'afer that list week' means i shouldn't be criticizing soviets.. and somehow makes me a hack.. that comment was well thought out and intellectually justifiable i'm sure.

You could have just said 'it is their fault for smoking'.

This is a political discussion subforum, not one of your coloring books.
More than a few words can be appropriate.

I mean, if you like putting more work in so less people read it, be my guest. Your communication will be much more effective if you practice being concise.

from the first second i stepped into PARD its been fairly clear to me Cam almost doesn't want to be read by most posters. seems like a good way to ward off the 3-5 word shit post responses, or at least a good reason to ignore them.

I mean, I agree. I've never gotten the impression he actually wants to communicate to anybody except who he could just circle jerk with in the same 14-year-old-just-discovered-libertarian-ism style of posting.

Still, worth a shot. Maybe he's an anomaly and actually never realized he sucks at communicating.

I do have a higher respect for intellectual discourse than some people here. Thats for sure.
If some people are unwilling to read replies longer than a few sentences thats on them. As discussions heat up and diverge into multiple points, or if its a complicated issue, it sometimes requires a longer reply to address properly.
I'm not going to shortchange or avoid points that I want to make for the sake of appeasing people with short attention spans who refuse to argue points on merit and cant handle more than two or three short paragraphs.

Somehow being mildly thorough and actually posting intelligently is a bad thing.
Much better to shitpost and troll and merely assert that you are right and the other guy is bad without any sort of logic behind it?
Some people might actually be interested in better understanding issues and my position. If you guys are not some of those people thats too bad.

Yes its a way to deal with ignorant shitposting. I demonstrate that I understand the issue better than they do, and they run away or stick to childish behavior.

Just further pettiness and intellectual bankruptcy from Thor trying to justify being a shitty poster who avoids honestly addressing and refuting what I say, and instead resorts to taking shots at me personally for his own shortcomings and bad behavior.

*gasp* multiple sentences again. Call the thought police. Too many thoughts posted.

i enjoy your posts thoroughly on certain topics and don't read on others. but i don't have the same intellectual consistency so that make sense. as long as your long winded nature never approaches that of jay you'll still be largely readable. but you don't expound on simple things to distract from blatantly spun lies so you're good.

Since we're on the subject and in the appropriate thread, an oldie but a goodie to get back on track:

I get a kick out of "Looks like you've had a bit too much to think"
