Many people purposefully consume tobacco products and prefer it, just like many people enjoy Alcohol.
I know you aren't big on personal responsibility, but it applies here.
People being more likely to die earlier,typically after living a long and fruitful life, from extensive tobacco use is categorically different than being forced to starve to death or lined up and shot or being exterminated in some other way.
The 6 mill figure is also junk science, but thats beside the point. The number of tobacco deaths is irrelevant to communism being terrible.

Thankfully that failed ideology has been soundly rejected by most decent persons and even by the indecent ones who control large populations, and it doesn't continue to murder people in such large numbers to this day.

Using that red herring to deflect criticism from the horrors of communism is extremely questionable, morally.
