Well it would be helpful if you had some comprehension of the meme instead of jumping 1/2 into a conversation and misinterpreting it.

I was talking about people getting swindled into giving their money away for an invisible product (god and promise being saved from him). The first meme just says look at all the money I saved by not donating to church. The second meme is of a pope sitting on a golden throne ironically praying for the poor while getting his money from the poor people.

Leviticus 27:30
“’A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

People like you simp for the church giving away your money while the church and the preachers enrich themselves with golden thrones and private jets.
Religion is a profitable business that doesn't pay taxes why do you think there are soo many religions? Its an obvious scam to someone like me looking from outside but you can't seem to see it.

Surely you can see how other religions abuse their followers financially

How ironic telling others they are misrepresenting things.

So how can you tell a wolf in sheep's clothing vs a real christian?
Because millions of people seem to think otherwise.

Why is Jewish scripture in the bible? I am quoting your book that chose to copy paste from judaism. I am not the one who chose jews to be his special people thats your gods decisions. In your own book jesus was king of jews why are you disrespecting a jewish guy and his book? Such transgressions will not be tolerated.

Firstly you made a claim that bible predicts how there are wolves in sheep's clothing I asked how can you tell them apart? You completely dodged, we can assume you had no answer and wanted to abandon that claim.
Secondly I asked why is there judaism is in the bible when you scoffed about my leviticus quote. You then proceeded to say I don't know anything and copy pasted books which are contained in the bible (not sure how that is relavent)
Bet you don't even know how many books there are in the bible without asking grok.

Btw how is that blade of grass proof coming along? Or are we to expect a typical tistuff post where you dodge, deflect or post irrelevant gibberish?

christian is supposed to have discernment. how do you tell if some one is bad news and stay away from them?

i told you
the old testament (jewish) (saved by works) showed that that people couldnt meet Gods standards and needed a savior.
the new testament (christian) Jesus (saved by grace)

actually i did a search and cut n pasted it. maybe i should of added the link?
u seriously think i want to type all that by hand?

[ˌsuːpəˈnatʃ(ə)r(ə)l]

If I make a claim to you that a certain pig named Tinker Bell could fly and show you the remains of a pig and a note in a diary that states Tinker Bell was a flying pig will that prove that the pig could fly? Does that best explain the evidence? I am just establishing a historical baseline. You might be convinced that the pig was real but you have no way of knowing that it could fly other than "trust me bro"

This loops back around to the bible as the original "just trust me book". All you are doing is trusting magical acts were performed and magical creatures existed based on the word of a book. This is Spiderman fallacy that I have been trying to explain to you for some time. Many fiction books very often use real world, non magical, non controversial places, people, events as a literary device in order to enhance plausability and authenticity.
You just don't apply any skepticism or critical thinking when it comes to your religion. Your guard is down and you are giving christianity a free pass. Everything else you require proof and hearsay is no longer good enough.

I am saying apply same level of verification as you would anything else, any other story or religion. I know it is difficult for you to do but at least try.

Your ‘flying pig’ example doesn’t match the situation. You’re describing a single claim with no surrounding historical context.

With Jesus Christ, we’re not dealing with one diary entry—we have multiple early sources, a rapid movement that spread under persecution, and independent references from non-Christians like Tacitus.

I’m not saying ‘non-miracles prove miracles.’ I’m saying you first establish what’s historically grounded, then evaluate what explanation best accounts for all the data—including why people so early were convinced something extraordinary happened.

Simply reducing it to ‘it’s like a flying pig story’ ignores the actual evidence—it’s not applying skepticism, it’s oversimplifying it.

You didn't forget you tucked your tail and ran for the hills. Still dodging btw.

An example doesn't have to match every detail on every level to be valid. Stop finding excuses to not answer the question. You have no proof for the magical resurrection period. You are just heavily relying on hearsay.

What other early sources are you referring to?
Rapid movement under persecution? Do you mean christians began spreading? What does number of followers and how hard they believe have to do with validity of their beliefs? Muslims have no problem of blowing themselves for the cause and Islam is the fastest growing religion right now does that mean their beliefs are right? Nonsense argument.
What other proof do you have besides bible told me

You still haven't given me the answer to how the Earth and the first human came to be.

Why are you dodging still 221 pages later?

It is unwise for people to attempt to answer a question like that who don't use the spiritual reality to reflect the incomprehensible.

Although I might say that replacing the incomprehensible with spiritual reality can be better than having no reflection at all.

But the beginning and the end are beyond the reach of us mortals though still. It is unwise to state which came first, the seed or the plant. Because here all is effect, the ultimate cause being elsewhere.

As religious folk in our simplicity we may call it god as an understanding. But how the first human came to be is still beyond your comprehension regardless...
