Student Loan Subsidies Could Have Dangerous, Unintended Side Effects

“By offering more-generous educational subsidies, the government may be creating a perverse incentive for both schools and borrowers, who could begin to pay even less attention to the actual price tag of their education — and taxpayers could be left footing more of the bill.

“If people are taking out the same or more amount of debt and repaying less of it, then it’s just taxpayers bearing the brunt of it,” said Daniel Zibel, chief counsel at the National Student Legal Defense Network, an advocacy group.”

Oh yeah the USA is uniquely experiencing inflation and it isn't literally the entire world. It definitely isn't impacting the entire world due to supply chain issues and corporate mergers resulting in outsized profit margins.

Nope, definitely students. DO NOT LOOK AT THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!

Its 30% Biden's fault.

30% Trumps fault too from mass spending stimulus bills.

This is what you get when you rebuild the administrative regulatory agencies and cancel the construction of oil pipelines.

Then there is the border crisis pushing up demand and the uncertainty of world war hurting the smoothness of the supply chain.

Saying that Biden isn't responsible is just as foolish as saying it is all his fault.

What do you think is causing the price hikes?

right wingers will be in a much better place once they admit the "border crisis" can't be solved at the border itself. especially when they bring up stuff like fentanyl.

Hmm y, it's a bit like Obama care problematic: paying the high costs instead of fixing the very source.
Because the government is either too weak against big intererests/businesses AND/OR cant rule everywhere because of republicans AND/OR states laws/independency.

Biden didn't just pretend to fail at protecting the border. He really helped them get in. I think that is a bit different.

I have no way of knowing, but I would bet the current (illegal) street price of fentanyl has dropped quite a bit under Biden.
