He seems to be unfamiliar with the recent events and that's fine. I made an error. How am I gaslighting?
No, I never said that. Honestly, I don't care if companies decide to sever ties with other companies and I expect the bar to be high from an ethics standpoint. We've known that Parler attracts some real scumbags and they seem unable to control those scumbags. They'll be fine though (if they want to continue to exist). They'll just set up their own data-centers like plenty of other companies do.
Should we even be surprised though? If you promote a less censored version of twitter, should you really be surprised that it attracts radicals? It's like being surprised that bitcoin is used for drug trafficking.
What % of radical content is enough to essentially blackball a platform? Do you think those types of posts are what most Parler threads or whatever are about? What if that type of post makes up .1% of all posts on there? We can both agree that you could find racist and other inappropriate content on other platforms like d2jsp like Facebook or Twitter, should those platforms also be taken down because 1000 out of millions of posts are inappropriate?
There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of accounts on Twitter that are anti-semitic, calling for deaths of politicians, other religions, infidels, and so on. Most of those accounts remain on there, and I honestly don't hear anyone talking about delisting Twitter. So why in your opinion has Parler reached this critical mass of inappropriate content (which outside of two screenshots i really haven't seen, then again I 'v never been on there) while other mainstream platforms are fine?
Did Amazon, Apple, and the rest give them adequate time to properly moderate, or are a few days enough for them to say you failed to moderate properly according to our standards therefore we are taking you down?
