Carolyn Maloney (current chair of the House Oversight Committee) sent a request to the acting National Archivist to have TFG issue a declaration that all materials belonging to NARA have been returned, and that NARA provide the Oversight Committee a review of whether the government has gotten all classified and Presidential records back.

This is a pretty shrewd move, as it gives NARA standing in the case, and and legal action from NARA as a result of this Congressional inquiry would be in the DC circuit, not Southern Florida.
