So I get exactly one TV channel where I am. I turned on Colbert tonight since its the only thing on, I missed the intro and the first few stories were about trump and stormy daniels and karen mcdougal and details about their affair, a rolled up forbes magazine, cohen having tapes on trump, etc. So I muted it and assumed oh, this is repeat, its covering old news from like a year ago when these were active controversies. Then while it was muted in the background a few minutes later I saw the Trump tweet in all caps about Iran and realized its an up to date episode. I just thought it was kind of telling that I genuinely mistook this for rerun when both his lead topics were this trodden. What does that say

the term "liberal" in 1700s does not equal the values of a liberal in the current year, it's deceitful language to imply this(assuming you are replacing excellence's "lefties" with "liberals").
