What are you trying to justify are you saying it's less so it's fine the pollution from a first world country is fine because it's not as much as a third world country? Pretty sure it's common sense that Africa and Asia as continents have more pollution from plastics in the ocean.

identifying the extent of plastic waste in the ocean from America and from straws and putting it into perspective in the midst of anti-straw hysteria and bans isn't 'garbage' or saying all first world pollution is 'fine'.
