but overall a valuable voice to listen to for his take on daily events

You should really take the time to listen to Ben Shaprio. He's actually very insightful most of the time. He's probably my #1 recommendation for someone who wants to put down the liberal koolaid for a minute to see what the other side has to offer.

This week is the first week that the generic congressional ballot has been tied in any poll for the 2018 election season. The democrats have won every poll until now. Several other polls are between 2%-4%. In almost every election, the republicans gain like 5%-10% in the polls between summer and november. In a few cases the election results were better than any poll for the GOP.

Currently id estimate the republicans will win the midterms by 3%-5%
