Former U.S. officials reacted with chagrin.

“Those who serve the U.S. government must know that they will not be put in jeopardy, or offered up as bargaining chips to authoritarian dictators,” said Dan Shapiro, who was ambassador to Israel under the Obama administration. “President Trump, Secretary Pompeo, and the Administration need to shut this travesty down immediately.”

In a separate briefing Wednesday afternoon, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert was asked about Ms. Sanders’s comments. She said she hadn’t seen the remarks and couldn’t address them, but dismissed as “absurd” the allegations that Russia was making about U.S. citizens.


“We do not stand by those assertions that the Russian government makes,” said Ms. Nauert. “I will be sure to look into it and understand that it would be a grave concern to our former colleagues here.”

The new White House comments came two days after the idea of allowing Russian officials access to Americans was first publicly broached at the press conference held by Messrs. Trump and Putin in Helsinki.

On Monday, Mr. Putin cited the case of William Browder, a U.S.-born investment-fund manager and thorn in the Putin government’s side, as a potential area of cooperation between Russian and U.S. investigators. Mr. Putin said he would be willing to give the U.S. access to Russians, such as the 12 intelligence officials recently indicted in the U.S. election meddling case, if the U.S. were willing to give Russia access to its targets.

Mr. Browder led a campaign to expose corruption and punish Russian officials whom he blamed for the 2009 death of his lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. The U.S. subsequently passed the Magnitsky Act, which put sanctions on Russian officials for alleged human rights abuses. That act has been a point of contention between the U.S. and Russia, and Moscow convicted Mr. Browder in absentia of financial crimes last year. Mr. Browder has maintained his innocence and called the trial a farce.

Mr. Putin said Monday that Russia wanted to question U.S. officials in the Browder matter. Alexander Kurennoi, a spokesman for the Russian attorney general’s office, told the Interfax news agency on Tuesday that Mr. McFaul is one of the Americans suspected of involvement in Mr. Browder’s purported illegal activities.

Mr. McFaul was denied a Russian visa in June 2014 and subsequently banned from entering the country, in what he says was a response to U.S. sanctions and his service in the Obama administration.

As ambassador, Mr. McFaul was an architect of Mr. Obama’s attempted reset with Moscow but was sometimes critical of the Kremlin, a posture which brought intrusive Russian media scrutiny and official accusations that his mission was to undermine the country’s leadership.

Yes folks we have on one hand piles and piles of evidence that Hillary got paid by Russia for shoe horning the Uranium One deal through the 9 involved depts. We have the fact that many serious laws were broken in the creation and carrying out of the Uranium One deal.
We have the fact that both the FBI and the DOJ, knew laws were being broken and just turned away. Not to mention that both the FBI and the DOJ supposedly didn't inform the Obama admin, before the deal.

On the other hand we have nothing but rumor, speculation, lies, BS and wishful thinking.

So how does the scale tilt? Towards the nothing happened side. :D


Trump and Putin...

On the one hand we have Trump who we already know will mis-say things, discussing US and Russia plans to move forward. We now know that Congress wants to have a hearing about the private part of the summit with Trump's translator present.
We all know the translator will ONLY tell the truth, no matter what he's offered or threatened with. We have a summit during which absolutely nothing was signed, agreed to or given up, and the we have outrageous lefty inspired rage, because Trump said, he believed Putin that Russia didn't hack the election. We have the saner lefties, just blaming Trump for making the US look wimpy while ignoring the fact that IF the election was hacked, we already look like incompetent idiots, because we fell for it, and/or couldn't prevent it.

Last but not least, all this crap about Trump colluding with Russia is just lefty fiction, because somehow Trump found out about what had been going on during Obama's term, and claimed that Hillary had colluded with Russia... which is probably exactly what happened.


On top of all that lefty fiction, we have a myriad of news articles today that all attack Trump, right after the summit no less. NY is "contemplating" suing Trump for using some non-profit funds for his campaign. We all know the value of telling your victim what you're up to BEFORE the actual suit is placed on the docket. :/
We also have articles about how some poor immigrant mother with two young sons, were freezing to death, (in Texas confinement facility no less), and that one of her two sons was always cold (in Texas, in the summer) because she could only hold one of them at a time.
She must only have one arm and have been forced to stand the entire time she was in confinement.



CAN the BS get any deeper. It probably can, because the wily lefty shows absolutely no limit as to far far they will go, to "get Trump". Why is there all this antagonistic insanity you ask? Create and force the US to accept a healthcare policy that wasn't funded, and would come out of the people's pockets over time. Force the healthy to pay the insurance for the ill.
Through extortion, money laundering and blackmail, literally give Russia (our supposed worst enemy) control over 20% of the uranium in the US.

After all this absolutely treasonous behavior, turn around and accuse the current administration of exactly the same thing... with NO proof at all.
