In recent history republicans have proven to be very irresponsible with government spending, as evidenced by the addition to the deficit from two years of Trump and 8 years of Bush. Obama was a big government democrat and even he managed to reduce the deficit considerably over his term. The best part about democrats and the economy is when they say deficits are lower under dem presidents and then when shown obamas massive deficits they immediately switch talking points and say “well we are now talking about recovering from a recession”.

I also like their outright denial of the fact that the dotcom crash of 2000 happened under clinton. Ive seen dems get outright hostile on forums when you show them a chart of the collapse being under clinton. In their mind, it was under bush and you must be shouted down if you show facts to the contrary.

Recessions dont have a size. There is a drop and a correction. Trading and capitalization isnt a function of liberal butthurt. The recession of 1920 healed in 6 months because the administration deregulated and lowered taxes
