i agree with everything except the wars, she was too hawkish and peevish to not take a shot at Putin over syria or crimea IMO. thank god we'll never know.

Hillary may be hawkish, but she isn't a loose cannon, and she isn't somebody who would take war with Russia lightly. Additionally, Putin isn't going to start a war if we take a shot over Crimea. We just wrecked one of their "mercenary squads" a few months ago to no retaliation.

i guess when i say "war" i dont mean ww3. i mean a prolonged engagement satellite war that over it's course costs us billions or trillions of dollars, destabilizes a region and perhaps leave the situation worse than we found it. so no vietnam, but an expensive pissing match.

I really don't think Russia has the resources for that right now, after Obama's oil sanctions their economy has been suffering pretty heavily for several years now.

I mean, even if Russia did want to engage in that kind of "warfare" it would be a huge drain on them and a relatively small addition to our current (admittedly bloated) military budget.

starcraft taught me that you can harry a mainforces attack with very little resources. all they need to do is ship out some ak47's that have a shit load of and rpgs to a rebel group. russia cant sustain a war, but they've got the second largest arsenal on earth sitting collecting dust. this has been a strategy they've used for decades now.

I mean, they already do that kind of thing and claim they were "mercenaries" or whatever, and totally not associated with Russia at all.

I mean, them doing that shot down a commercial airliner already.

What is their support of Syria if not exactly what you are describing?

i agree, and they can do more of it. its not as if they're expending any notable part of their arsenal in Ukraine/Syria. i think they have less motive to ramp up under Trump, and would have ramped up more under HRC. then u can get into the differing responses of HRC/Trump, etc.

Obama say by during Allepo, so did Trump. im just suggesting HRC might not have. the status quo is a finger waging, she might have changed that.

I don't think the anti-Hillary rhetoric is consistent.

On one hand, people say she's an empty vessel, who will turn on an issue in a second for political expediency. On the other hand, they say she'll start a stupid war, something deeply unpopular to the vast majority of the country.

Which is it?

i dont think that running Putin out of Allepo in the wake of those bombing photos of kids all bloody would have been all that unpopular, at all.

Seems like you're just arguing very similar shades of grey where under HRC they "might be doing it a bit more" than they are under Trump.
