he has a point though. the way Ford and the Democrats played this was not straightforward, and lends itself to the assumption that maximizing the political damage of all of this was one of the main goals from the get go.

Nothing spectacular either way so far, but Ford was holding up pretty well. A tactical win for the Democrats so far. Not sure though if it will change anything.
