Surprised he wasn't riddled with bullets

Ocasio-Cortez has become the GOP's 2018 boogeyman. Fox News talks about her almost every night now.

Keep this in perspective: She's running in a district where Hillary Clinton posted a 57 point margin over Trump in 2016.

It seems like Republicans want Ocasio-Cortez to be the face of the Democratic party more than Democrats do.

As it is, she is a great microcosm of the movement.
Young, socialist, unbearably and visibly ignorant, false sense of moral superiority, unjustifiably arrogant that she has the solutions for societal ills, feelings override intellect and knowledge.

how can she be so 'ignorant' and 'arrogant' to fight for what a majority of people in the country actually support (like healthcare, college, money out of politics, closing tax loopholes for the rich, ending the corruption in washington, adequate wages...)?
doesn't she know that kind of 'communism / socialism' doesn't work? well, except from in western europe, northern europe, japan, south korea, canada, australia, new zealand...

and how is she gonna pay for that? america's priorities have to be: more more military spending and wars, taxbreaks for the rich, corporate welfare, deregulation of wallstreet and fossil fuel, private prisons, trade wars, walls... now THOSE are trillions well spent, you all saw how flawlessly trickle down v27.9 worked, right? the only way america can be fixed is more of the same...

i love how the establishment and its shills are losing their minds and obsessing over her, trying to attack her character, looks, age, gender, race, language, and trying to misrepresent her policies. clear case of OCDS...

exactly. and on top of all this, it is pretty apparent that people like Ocasio-Cortez are the future of the democratic party, people like her are the young ward that will take over once the "old white" party leadership has died off due to age. Ocasio-Cortez is a symbol for the course that the democratic party is on: to abandon white voters and their interests altogether and become the everything-non-white party.

lol no? she's advocating state guaranteed jobs for everybody. this is textbook socialism and nothing to be found among european social democrats. and she's very outspoken about this point, so it's not like this is some minor issue from her agenda that I/'we' misrepresent.

another key difference is that she suggests free college - difference in the sense that you cant compare the situation in europe, with a relatively cheap and lean publicly funded university system, with a system in which the American public would have to pay the outrageous fees of the private, for profit american universities. free college in the united states would either be textbook socialism again; or require a complete reorganization of the country's entire tertiary education system.
