Not surprising, he's demonstrated he doesn't actually know or care what a straw man is.

Right more unsubstantiated pathetic attempts to marginalize me rather than backing up what you say and attempting to refute my statements. Par for the course.

I explicitly asked you to justify your false claim of strawman and instead you pretend I don't know what one is.

You have substantiated my claim for me and for all others to see. That you can't recognize this further proves my point

You haven't shown I was shitposting though, and it obviously wasn't vacuous since it had letters.... You're just mad somalia sucks and there's no successful libertarian bastions to point to so you cherry pick things you like and say countries are successful because of those and not because the things you dislike without giving any evidence except much freedumz

Yes, absolutely and without a seconds hesitation. I'd mourn for the art, but art is to explore what it means to be human, and if I let the old woman die to save an object, I would no longer be human in any meaningful sense, and could be debasing humanity itself.

But if it is time for her to go it is time to go, nothing I can do about that. Plus, I'm good at saying goodbye.

Honestly not sure what I'd do, I'd probably save her too but for sake of history it might be a hard decision..

I too would choose the old lady without hesitation. I think choosing the old lady is the norm and saving the artwork is the exception. How can some value life over art?

That occurrence would become part of the mythos and story of the art piece for sure.

"This is David, which was saved at the expense of a content old woman in the twilight of her life, he was created by Michelangelo in the fifteenth century in Renaissance Italy."

I don't understand how abortion is an issue. Scare tactics from the left? Roe v Wade is effectively set in stone...

Abortions are unavailable at Planned Parenthood in the city of Cincinnati due to local Republicans changing laws concerning having emergency surgery equipment on sight rather than two blocks away at the largest hospital in the region. So women's reproductive rights are definitely still an issue, the Constitution is just being subverted on the city, county, and state level by conservatives as usual.

I've been considering getting a tattoo of this across my forearm. It's the only tattoo I've ever considered.

I have a Weeping Yogi and a shitty shoulder tattoo that was done with a homemade tattoo gun that cut so deep that much of it is raised scar. I got it from another tanker while I was in the Army and I'll just say mentally I was in a weird place. It is a big, scarry spiderweb, covering my right shoulder, I got because I felt like I was completely captured, caught, and fucked when I was going to go on deployment. I was having dreams about soldiers marching into barracks and coming out as hamburger and went to a really dark place. It is appropriate and helps me remember where I've been and helps me get my head out of the fucking clouds when I need to. I don't have anything visible and I won't do that at all...I feel like I have to work hard enough to be normal as it is
