the ukrainian government and ruling class don't have to be perfect in order to acknowledge that russia has been committing the significantly greater evil on the people of ukraine. you can say "stop killing civilians" while also acknowledging that the military escalation was a direct result of unmarked RUSSIAN troops invading UKRAINIAN territory.
you can say "root out your corruption" while still putting into perspective how murdering so many people, bombing a whole country into the stone age, is by far the greater evil. all your silly little attempts to make this a both sides thing are desperate false equivalences in order to downplay pootin's terror against the ukrainian people.
there is exactly ONE reason ukraine is "getting rekt", and it's NOT "business opportunity". it's pootin's expansionism. obviously there IS war profiteering, obviously i hate everything about this, especially how the fucking americans and chinese are the big winners in all of this, but that does NOT change the simple fact that none of this is the result of their masterful planning, or whatever moronic conspiracy you subscribed to, but one of pootin's blind ambition and terrible miscalculation of just how desperately the ukrainian people detest and reject his regime.

any russian regime would have attacked in this scenario just like the US would invade mexico if russia or china stationed troops and rockets there, no matter if its biden, trump or obama
of course we in the west knew everything about these geopolitical doctrines and still did nothing to deescalate
our super chancellor scholz tried until the last moment (gotta say something positive once in a while), but kiev and washington went POOOOTIN REEEEEEEEE and shut him down
there is this one lecture from a university professor in 2015 or so (dont remember exactly), who predicted this whole thing
