although i'm not particularly fond of either, and advocated against taking PPP loans. you are being rather misleading here.
there are 2 fundamental differences between these loan forgiveness programs.

1. https://www.mhmcpa.com/insights/article/house-overwhelmingly-passes-bipartisan-measure-to-ease-ppp-loan-forgiveness-requirements

the PPA went through the house, (which was Democrat majority btw) and up to the senate. then ultimately signed into law by President Trump. that's how this nation constitutionally changes law.

for student loan forgiveness, Biden enacted executive order.
this is not how it works, but no one will be able to sue the white house because of lack of standing.

2. when PPP was signed into law. businesses were forcibly shut down by the government. PPP loans actually did save a lot of small businesses.
i don't like how it was written, but Democrats owned the house... they ultimately were writing it. when they had spare time from trying to find things to impeach Trump with.

student loan forgiveness however... is just a mid-term hand-out. things are rough right now, but not just for people with student debt.

all that being said, i'd rather see the money spent this way than sending it to Ukraine.

one factor is PPP loans had bipartisan support, defaulting on them i'm less sure of. i'm also curious to see a breakdown of both parties of who took out PPP loans and additionally who defaulted on them. my gut tells me the GOP has more business owner reps, but im not sure.

Yes because the student loan was taken out of your own choice. The PPP was because of the government forcing you to shut down your business because of a flu, 🤡

the idea that college is a true choice for most high school graduates is pretty funny. graduates are to simplify it given a choice of 10 careers to be successful and 8 or so require a degree. there are a nuanced set of choices but the idea that at 18 u have the mental capacity to buck the system is silly. you're funneled into the system by adults. most of which have good intentions.

Don’t affect me much I’m the only bread winner with 3 dependents. In the end the government will ALWAYS pay me not the other way around.

I'm confused. Is this a subtle brag on not making enough money to pay taxes yet making enough to be on jsp to brag about it?.

Eh, no use fighting it. Won't change their situation much.

The people who took the state/community college route with the the major more demanded in society will continue to prop this country up, and those who took in those $200k+ loans with near useless degrees will still be struggling from their own bad decisions.
Let them have their 10k, its pennies to anyone decent with their money.

Define decent money? I'd like to think I make decent money and 10k isn't pennies. In fact, I lost 10k in the stock market and am quite bitter about it. (Here's looking at you Roku)

It's becoming much less so the case now, but if you were born in the 80's or 90's this is 100% accurate. As far as you were aware, your job options include the following:

Food Service
Customer Service
Retail
Bus Driver
Teacher
Inventor
Doctor/Nurse
Lawyer
C-Suite executive

Did I miss anything?

Our whole educational system K-12 in the US is a total joke and does nothing to teach you anything you'll actually need in everyday life. Well, Once you get past third grade that is. Basic algebra is actually useful.

There are a lot of people that make decent money that get money back every year or don’t owe. Hence why they are trying to raise taxes on the wealthy again because a lot of them zero out or better.

EDIT: But if you are concerned I make low 6 digits. So I’m considered middle class in Texas with 3 non working dependents.

Ah You're absolutely right. The truly rich don't pay. I think the confusion was in your wording. Getting Money back simply means you overpaid. It does not mean that they paid you. It doesn't mean you didn't owe any taxes [because you paid taxes throughout the year instead of at the end].

That’s not true. You get credit for dependents and earned income as well(if you make under 57k per adult individual I think last time I check.)

I’ve heard of head of household and other claims too. If you are missing out on any of these things and shouldn’t be I highly recommend getting a new tax person.

Edit:
Before I got my recent job I’d take NO TAXES out of anything I made and still ended up with them owing me a little(not much but a little) because of dependents. I did make a lot less back then about half what I do now.

Ah I see. You had a job change that doubled your salary. That adds a lot more detail. At around 50k with 3 dependents, you absolutely wouldn't owe any taxes and could still get a refund due to credits. At 100k though, you'd definitely owe taxes + possibly fees

Which is exactly why it's inflationary. These people owe money to the government. We're freeing that cash up to be spent. More money chasing the same number of goods = higher prices. More spending is not always good, or we'd run infinite deficits infinitely.

Oh yeah the USA is uniquely experiencing inflation and it isn't literally the entire world. It definitely isn't impacting the entire world due to supply chain issues and corporate mergers resulting in outsized profit margins.

Nope, definitely students. DO NOT LOOK AT THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!
