There are two offenses here. One, seeking to subvert existing laws regarding government transparency. Two, putting classified material in (potentially) harms way. The former is more serious than the latter. Classified material is leaked all the time, whereas transparency is key to representative democracy.

you know how they discovered it? the national archives, a key institution for "government transparency" were missing stuff. so your description of hillary's "crime" perfectly fits trump's actions.
