Telling black and brown children that all whites and all of society's institutions are out to exploit and discriminate them ("systemic racism") poisons their minds and prompts them to view everything through the lens of race.
I'm all for telling children about the history of slavery and racism in the country, but indoctrinating them with a victim mentality and a racialized worldview would only cause harm.

Unlike the patronizing lefties, I believe in emancipated, responsible citizens who can decide for themselves whether the things they experience in their everyday life is racism or not. Imho, most blacks know racism when they see it. Only the Democratic party seems to believe that black children are all little Uncle Toms in the making whose eyes need to be opened.

Only stupid people think what you state is happening is happening though. CRT is the movement to stop whitewashing history textbooks and mention things like the Tulsa Race Massacre. That event and events like that have been covered up by American education systems thanks for conservative ideas dominating the social environment for so long.

CRT states that racism exists and when it is addressed or described the dominate culture takes that as an attack against society itself. Conservative users here prove this time and time again. They want an educational system that lies to children and teaches a white washed version of history. Critical education teaches children about the world they are about to enter as adults and citizens in a realistic way that doesn't enable and perpetuate systemic discrimination and gives people tools to dismantle it.

There are endless examples of exactly that happening. You are up in arms over a "patriotic bias" in education, only to turn around and suggest we replace it with discredited, inaccurate renditions of history (e.g. the NYT's "1619 project") and with the work of actual racists (e.g. Ibram Kendi).

It is a worse version of Marxism, with the proletariat summarily discarded in favor of an ideology that espouses the supremacy of race in analyzing social relations. It attacks meritocracy, disparages individual agency, and endorses a concept of racial guilt that has been completely unacceptable since at least the 1930s.
