d2jsp as a whole is probably heavily skewed toward a white, male, nerdy, early 20s to late 30s audience. If I remember the demographical splits from the 2016 election correctly, this particular demo (which should be predominant on this forum) leans moderately (albeit not overwhelmingly) to the right. Something like R+5 in the context of American politics.

I'd agree in that PaRD overall is more moderate than it is extreme, and that there's few posters who are either far right or far left. It definitely feels right-of-center on total average for sure.

Another thing to keep in mind is that this sub has a small core of regular posters, proably less than 20 people. On such a small sub, single posters can dominate threads and discussion, at least in terms of the quantity (number and length) of their posts.

On a day when Ghot is particularly desperate for attention, his spam alone can shift the public impression of this forum to the right by 20 points or so.

Nobody is surprised you lack the self awareness to figure out where you are on the political spectrum

Why do you argue with political events that happened 60 years ago, long before I was even born? Why do you lump me together with unapologetic racists and bigots?

I'll still stick with my core argument that there is a fundamental difference between granting equal rights to everyone and granting special treatment to particular subgroups. Your case that this is the argument with which all kinds of bigoted opinions were justifed in the past imho isnt concinving at all.

Anyway, how convenient that the political left somehow never runs out of minorities to fight for, no matter how many rounds of the culture wars they win.

Same narrative. Same and similar Rights aren't special rights no matter how you try to frame it, through massive compartmentalization, rationalism, and denying something happened and continues because you weren't there when it started despite falling into oppressive tribalism.

Of course I'm pretty libertarian in my ideology and believe everyone should be free. Not everyone thinks everyone should be free and some people prefer the hierarchies where they're on top. It doesn't surprise me you prefer a hierarchy where you're on top.

Over the years it has seemed a lot more left here than this poll is showing

all the lefties voted it’s right-wing and anyone center or right said it’s left-wing
thus the poll result

Yeah, I mean we got n****rs the right to vote, what else could we possibly fight for? First they wanted to vote, now they want their bathrooms to be just a clean as the white bathroom. When will those liberals just stop fighting for minorities already?

Do you really think that people saying exactly this thought they were an unapologetic racist or bigot? They definitely didn't. And still, people like Icemage who argued and still argue against the rights of gay people to get married to a person of the same sex says their opinion isn't bigoted. In 50 years everybody will recognize it for what it is, and people who can't see more than 5 years into the past will still be repeating the exact same arguments.

Referred to by special pronouns of the trannie's choosing. Right to enter sports competition against physically outmatched (biologically female) competitors. Access to the opposite sex's locker rooms and toilets, or an entitlement to be provided with seperate facilities.

You really need to get some perspective. The reason you see it as "extra rights" is because everybody has respected your rights from the start. If your boss calls you a girl despite your objections that would be considered harassment, and it has nothing to do with genitals because (hopefully) your boss has never done a penis inspection.

Marriage is a more important right for society than gay marriage because traditional marriage is the bedrock of civilization. A traditional marriage is and always will be the best vehicle to raise children and thus continue a civilization.

Gay and other times of marriage tend to prioritize hedonism and vanity instead, thus they are judged as such.
