If Syria started executing Israelis on the Israeli side of the border, and Syria had nukes and was in defiance of international law on nukes, you would be screaming your head off that the U.N. needs to unite against Syria.
But because its your favorite rogue nuclear terrorist state killing people in their own sovereign land, the UN has too much time on their hands.
Since the little French kindly bumped this topic up,
It’s funny to see how things has turned out.
Syrian people are heading south to the Israeli border, hoping for protection.
While the Israeli government made it clear that no one will cross the border, a massive humanitarian aid is given, including evacuating wounded children to the Israeli side for a treatment.
It’s not much, and IMO not enough, but it’s a hell of a lot more help than the rest of the world provide.
It seems that there are those who talk much and there are those who actually do something.
