Thankfully cars are closed environments, when i drop something on my magic carpet - i can kiss that item goodbye.

Yeah,I don't get at all what would motivate someone to argue with logic this terrible and ill informed. Wind resistance is momentum, herp derp.

Everyone else, can we slow it down a bit? I mean,I used to argue 9/11 with datajunky, so I kinda get it, but would y'all mind telling me what you get out of this?

the ones that dont need to explain resisting the force of air moving against it because the air would be relative to the direction of the planet - not to the plane , and the earth is not a closed environment -
also commercial flight pilots that think need to connect to satellites and make automatic constant course corrections for the curve of the earth - when any pilot flying a small plane that is fully manual will tell you he never needs to correct for the curve of the earth - heliocentricity 101.

You know that's not even remotely true, right? Or also how US Navy quartermasters (the people in charge of navigation) use those same course correction strategies (I've seen this in person)? You're full of shit.

with a vertical front of the car and a windshield to deflect the force of traveling through the air - try throwing a ball above the wind shield of a convertible and still trying to catch it on the way down.

Lol, wind resistance is momentum, of course, of course

So Official USA military goverment ships that keeps people compartmentalized says they course correct for Coriolis and curve of the earth - but why dont other boat captains need to - like how did sailors do this in the 1900s? Did the Titanic sink because they forget to course correct for curve of the earth?

Everyone does it to make the most efficient use of fuel and time, not just the US Navy. That last was a question, and you're not in the "getting your questions answered" column.

The earth isn't traveling through air, it has an atmosphere but that's it. The rest us a vacuum

This is the time. This is the phrasing that will convince him.
