I don't think the Trump supporters in this poll are otherwise are the type of people who assign a lot of value to things like data. You also have to consider the trolling factor -- anybody who has even a slight understanding of politics is going to know that Clinton would obliterate Trump, but they might vote Trump in a meaningless poll just for entertainment.

They're really not. He's sporting a -30 net favorability pre-attack ads. It's one of the worst ratings in their massive field, possibly the worst (it depends on Christie).
There is not a national primary. Your viability is measured by your state standing, particularly the way your supporters are distributed throughout the state in order for you to win delegates. Trump's performance in both of these metrics is poor: his place among the field is artificially inflated because the "not Trump" vote is being separated into so many other choices, and his capacity to win delegates right now is almost non-existent because he has no real infrastructure.
He at least seems to finally realize this because his "campaign" is now finally starting to hire staff in various states. It's probably not going to make a difference.
